By Applying Valuable Technical Innovations

The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex has achieved a growth in production by applying valuable technical innovation plans.

The complex raised the production of ammonia by two tons per hour as compared to the past by remodelling the condensation-separation part of the ammonia synthesizing process according to its sci-tech development plan.

Meanwhile, washing towers and injector nozzles of gas generators were modified to meet new conditions of raw materials, which contributed to ensuring normal production.

Besides, in collaboration with a research team of Kim Il Sung University, the complex developed and introduced a new pipe thickness meter and laid foundations for rust prevention and timely repair of defects that badly affect the operation of the process.
