Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, together with Ri Sol Ju gave field guidance to the Ryuwon Footwear Factory which has been turned into a model in the country's footwear industry.

He went to the mosaic "The great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il seeing shoes produced by the Ryuwon Footwear Factory" and the monument to field guidance built in the compound of the factory to convey the immortal leadership feats of the WPK to posterity.

Noting that he felt as if he were seeing the smiling great leader, he said that officials and employees of the factory should produce quality and attractive shoes in a larger quantity for the people true to the great leader's noble intention.

He went round a newly arranged room for education in the revolutionary history and a room dedicated to the history of the factory.

He recalled that the Ryuwon Footwear Factory was built as the first injection-molded sports shoes producer of the country in November 1988 thanks to the warm loving care of leader Kim Jong Il who devoted his whole life to the people, regarding it as his motto to believe in them as in Heaven.

Those rooms have been well built to ensure educational significance, he said, stressing the need to effectively conduct the education of employees through them in diverse forms and methods so that they can carry out their task more creditably with the pride and honor of working at the historic factory.

Going round the combined production control room and cutting, sewing, shoe-making and injection-molding shops, sci-tech room, designing room, products exhibition room and other parts of the factory, respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un learned in detail about the renovation and production of the factory and the quality of its products.

The factory produces many varieties of quality and attractive sports shoes which can match with world famous sports shoes, he said, adding with broad smile on his face that he is very pleased to picture the children, sportspersons and other people enjoying those home-made sports shoes.

Then, he set forth the important tasks facing the factory.

Watching a panoramic view of the factory repeatedly, he highly appreciated the officials, scientists, technicians and builders for having turned the factory into a monumental edifice in the era of the Workers' Party.

He stated that the buzzing sound for increased production at the factory seems to be powerful song of advance by the army and people who are building a prosperous socialist power with the great force of self-reliance and self-development, full of confidence in sure victory and optimism.

He had a photo session with the officials and employees of the Ryuwon Footwear Factory.
